The images are great close ups of the production machinery. Installing artwork at three locations in the PeaceHealth PRN Galleries happens about every three months. Gail Heffron is the featured artists with watercolors of Trees at University District, Travel images at RiverBend and Landscapes at the Medical Clinic. Gail's work is easy to read and soft in its interpretation.

Installing in a public location is different than doing this installation in a private closed space. There is potential for interaction with customers and opportunity to talk about installing and about the art.

A recent trip to Seattle and visit to the Olympic Sculpture Park confirmed my belief that art for everyone is attainable. The park is easy to find past Pier 70 along Seattle's waterfront walkway. The giant sculptures from well known artist such as Louise Nevelson and Alexander Calder are a tribute to a great vision of art outside, easy to find, easy to see, easy to get to. What a gorgeous location for seeing art, people, mountains and water as well as lots of dogs.

In April I installed a thematic exhibit of chefs by Mike Van at the David Joyce Gallery at Lane Community College in the Center for Meeting and Learning. I will be posting photos of this exhibit later in June. The exhibit at Lane will be up through the summer.

Jacobs Gallery installations in th last couple months have been "Telling Stories, Two Photographers" with the work of Rich Bergeman and Paul Neevel and the colorful "Latino Visions" curated by Analee Fuentes. Analee's paintings are featured in the photograph above on the right.

The last day in March the Gallery Management class began through University of Oregon. There are 14 graduate and undergrad students. The class will continue into June.

At Jacobs Gallery I am curating a show of artists from Oregon Crafted which will be exhibited in July and August and working with the Jurors planning the 2009-2011 exhibition schedule.

Hello, the summer months certainly swept by with lots of work designing and installing. In August I installed framed photographs of PeaceHealth volunteers in the Public Relations Department. Additionally I worked in the PeaceHealth Hilyard Clinic installing large posters featuring physicians. The exhibit at Jacobs Gallery was a one person show featuring Dennis Gould. Hello I am at this new blog site posting information about where you might see my exhibition desigh work. I have installed four exhibits in the last couple months, one in Corvallis, Oregon and three in Eugene, Oregon. I also have a few projects pending.

The exhibit at Jacobs Gallery was installed in March. The website for information about the show at Jacobs gallery in Eugene is http://www.jacobsgallery.org. This exhibit will be showing through May 12. The show date has been extended.

The second location is at PeaceHealth in Eugene where there are two small galleries, one at the Sacred Heart hospital and the other at the Medical clinic. Art work is shown in the PRN coffee shops. If you wish to know more about these exhibits or PeaceHealth I will look for a website or more information about the artists that I hope to post.

I have been working as a designer at Jacobs Gallery for over five years and at PeaceHealth for four years.

In Corvallis I recently installed "Art in Agriculture" an annual exhibit showing at the Memorial Union at Oregon State University. Soon I plan to post information about this exhibit and the program that sponsors it.

A couple pending projects are an exhibit at LaSelle Gallery at the OSU campus in Corvallis slated to go up May 3. In Eugene I am working with PeaceHealth Medical Group consulting regarding purchase and placement of artwork in newly remodeled administrative office.

I hope to soon have photos of work for your viewing.
